OUR COMMITTEE'S PURPOSE AND MONTHLY MEETINGS
"The purpose of institutional work in California is to offer the healing and regenerating truths of Christian Science to government- sponsored institutions such as prisons, reformatories, work camps, jails, mental hospitals, juvenile facilities, and Veterans Administration hospitals in California.  The ministry is extented to those who are confined in institutions and thus prevented from attending a branch church, contacting a practitioner, or visiting a Reading Room."

At our meetings we hear the fruitage of the work being done by our chaplains and workers in local institutions, conduct business supporting their field work, and share inspiration from our study of the monthly study topic.  Members of local branch churches or societies are encouraged to find out more about this healing ministry by attending these meetings.
